Day 01: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Commence your African safari today with a transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park located southwest in the Pearl of Africa Uganda next to the Virungas National Park in Democratic Republic of Congo. With our knowledgeable driver guide, you shall have a brief stop in Masaka at the equator line (the line that divides the earth into the Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere in spite of it being the point when light rays from the center of the sun are perpendicular to the earths surface at noon). After here, proceed with enroute lunch at a nice restaurant in Mbarara or Kabale towns arriving Bwindi the Gorilla haven early evening for check in, dinner and relaxation at your reserved accommodation. Estimated driving time is 8 - 9 hours drive.

Day 02: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorilla Tracking Day)

Wake up to an early morning breakfast between 6:00am and 7:00am, meet and greet at 08:00am with the ranger guides for briefing about the Gorilla tracking activity which commences at 08:30am, it is a very captivating and unforgettable experience while with these gentle giant apes in the dense rainforest as they forage , squabble and play. The tracking can last for a few hours or more depending on the gorillas' proximity from where they were left yesterday and therefore the trek can at times be tiresome and demanding for fitness - whilst here, other primate species can be encountered and bird species having it in mind that Bwindi is also a bird watcher's haven with over 330 species including 23 Albertine endemics. You are advised to carry a hiking stick, light back pack with packed lunch, at least 2 Liters of water, rain gear, insect repellant, camera(but endeavor to switch off the flash), wear long pants, hiking boots and a hat. After the gorilla tracking experience, return to lodge for afternoon relaxation. Optional; A community walk or Batwa pygmy's cultural experience is worth a bonus to sum up your day before your dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a hearty breakfast at 09:00am, you shall transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park also Uganda's most popular tourist destination with diverse ecosystems that make it an ideal habitat for big game, over 600 bird species and outstanding attractions. We shall have a game drive in the Ishasha sector whose fig trees are famous for tree climbing lions ready to pounce on prey whilst sighting other game like Elephants, Buffalos, Topi, Uganda Kobs, Deffasar Waterbucks and more as they roam the savannah vegetation. Here after proceed to Mweya peninsular or surrounding accommodation with an enroute game drive before check in for relaxation, dinner and overnight. Estimated driving time is 4 hours.

Day 04: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early morning at 06:00am, enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack then at 06:30am we embark on a game drive within the Kasenyi sector mating ground for a classic African wildlife experience where we can track carnivores like Lion prides, hyenas and odd Leopard hunt and fist on prey especially the plenty Uganda Cob (a common antelope specie) in this park. Return early at 10:00am in time for breakfast and relaxation towards lunch -after lunch at 14:30hr, enjoy a 2 hours fascinating boat cruise along the 32kilometers long Kazinga channel considered by many as the highlight of their entire African safari as you watch lots of hippos in water at close range, buffalo, elephant, Waterbucks and at times leopard at the banks as they come to drink water while the tremendous array of bird species make it a magnificent view that will sum up your day.

Day 05: Queen Elizabeth National Park / Kampala

Enjoy a delight morning breakfast at 07:00am and checkout of hotel, we shall visit the ancient town of Katwe renown for salt mining at Katwe salt lake then sight explosion craters yet another beautiful attraction in this park and also have a stop at the queen's pavilion and equator Line for a photo shoot. After we proceed to Kampala with enroute lunch while sightseeing and driving through Kasese and Fort portal towns lying at the edge of the Snow Capped Rwenzori Mountains also referred to as Mountains of the Moon (one of Africa's highest mountain range exceeded in altitude by Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya). Arrival in Kampala will be late evening with a drop off at the airport or your reserved accommodation thus ending your African Safari experience.
