Day 01: Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning at 0800hr, depart for Murchison Falls Park which is Uganda's biggest national park famous for its spectacular Murchison Falls where the world's longest river (River Nile) forces its way through a 7 meters narrow gorge before it tumbles down 43 meters to form a breathtaking bottom of the falls and continuation of the Victoria Nile as it joins Lake Albert where it forms the Albert Nile on its way to the Mediterranean sea. We drive to Zziwa in nakasongola for Rhino tracking sighting these giant herbivores that were reintroduced in Uganda after their extinction due to poaching -the rhino is also considered among Africa's big five in wildlife and with this safari, you have chances of encountering all the big5. Enjoy lunch here after tracking and then proceed through Masindi town to the park arriving early evening for check in, relaxation and dinner at hotel/Lodge.

Day 02: Murchison Falls National Park

Today enjoy an early morning game drive in the park in search of wildlife encountering animals like the Roth's child giraffe, Jackson's hartebeest, Buffalo, Orib among others and at times carnivores like the Lion, Hyena and chances of the odd Leopard - buligi tracks are a perfect place to begin from while on a game drive. Return early in time for breakfast from 0930hr and relaxation before lunch. After your lunch at 1425hr, embark on a breathtaking boat cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls (world's most powerful waterfall) with a spectacular view while sighting Nile crocodiles, hippos in water, various bird species and other wildlife along the river banks. Option: Return to the lodge after the cruise or do a hike to the top of the falls and proceed to Sambiya river lodge for overnight or Budongo forest for Chimpanzee tracking tomorrow.

Day 03: Murchison Falls - Kampala

Wakeup to sunrise and an early morning hearty breakfast then set feet into nature to track chimpanzees in Budongo forest - chimpanzee tracking is a popular activity here and it is fun to watch these apes as they feed, play and squabble. Besides that, the forest is a home to over 350 bird species making it an ideal place for bird enthusiasts while those who love a beautiful array of butterflies, you will surely enjoy since the forest gives solace to some 290 species. After tracking, enjoy lunch at the lodge or in Masindi and proceed to kampala arriving early evening for your flight back home or overnight at your reserved hotel in the city thus ending your safari to Murchison falls.
